When I first started exploring AI, I didn’t have a clear goal.
I didn’t know how to “leverage a large language model.”
I didn’t even know what LLM meant.
All I knew was this:
There were parts of my workday that drove me nuts—and I was tired of wasting time on things I shouldn’t need to think about.
If you’re AI-curious but don’t know where to begin, let me tell you something upfront:
You don’t need a grand plan.
You just need a few pain points—and a little curiosity.
For me, it was tracking my coaching calls and hours.
Seems simple, right? End a session, open the spreadsheet, log it. Done.
Except… it never worked that way.
Every time a call ended, I had to pee, my kid needed a snack, another meeting started, or my phone exploded with notifications. I’d tell myself I’d log it later—and then, of course, I wouldn’t.
The result? A mountain of backlog. Manually checking my calendar. Toggling between apps. Fat-fingering time entries. Losing hours to something that should’ve taken five minutes. And the worst part? I needed those logs to earn my next ICF coaching credential.
About halfway through the AI Transformation Black Belt Course from Journey Alliance, I learned how to focus AI on repetitive tasks using simple AI tools and integrations.
I then created a system where every completed coaching call on my calendar is automatically logged in my spreadsheet.
✅ No more manual entry
✅ No more guessing
✅ No more time lost to something I hated doing
Boom. Just like that, I reclaimed hours—and a little bit of my sanity.
You don’t need to have a specific outcome in mind when you start learning AI.
Maybe you’re just curious.
Maybe you're afraid of falling behind.
Maybe you’re worried AI is coming for your job.
Whatever the reason, here’s your sign:
You can learn this.
You can master this—from zero.
And you don’t have to be “techy” to do it.
I was the least likely person to jump into AI. Now I’m building tools, automating processes, and helping other women find more time for the things that matter.
Here’s what I’ve gained so far:
More time to spend with my family
More confidence navigating technology
More freedom to focus on the work that lights me up
More energy (because I’m not constantly context-switching or catching up)
More opportunity to serve my clients at a higher level
It’s not about doing more.
It’s about making space for what really matters.
You don’t need to dive into the deep end.
Start small. Start curious. Start now.

The future isn’t AI vs. humans.
It’s humans with AI—and you deserve to be one of them.
